TIRANA, October 12 /ATA/ – The TUMO program, which offers young people the opportunity to learn about technology and develop creative and digital skills, is opened in Kamëz, first such center outside Tirana.
Minister of Economy and Innovation Delina Ibrahimaj stated today that the initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF), the Municipality of Kamëz and TUMO Pyramid.
The center will serve young people aged 12–18, providing them with opportunities to learn and develop skills in technology, programming and digital creativity through hands-on programs and independent work.
“The goal is for young people to discover their interests and talents, acquire new knowledge and better prepare for the professions of the future.
Following Kamëz, the program aims to expand to Shkodra, Korça, Vlora and Elbasan, giving more young people outside the capital the chance to benefit from technology education,” the minister said. TUMO’s expansion aims to bring technology education closer to young people in various cities across the country, fostering the development of digital and creative skills that are becoming increasingly important in the labor market. /p.s./
