PM Rama condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia

TIRANA, Oct. 11 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama on Sunday condemned Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia, including a deadly strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

Rama expressed Albania’s solidarity with the Kingdom and its people, offering condolences to the victims’ families and wishing those injured a speedy recovery.

“Albania strongly condemns the Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia, including the deadly attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. We stand firmly with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people,” Rama wrote.

He stressed that attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure could not be justified, warning that such acts threatened regional peace and the security of vital international transport routes.

Rama said the Houthis and their “well-known sponsors of terror in Tehran” must be held accountable.

“The international community must speak with one clear voice: these attacks must stop immediately,” he added.
