TIRANA, Oct 7 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama has congratulated academic Justina Shiroka-Pula on her election as President of Kosovo.
Rama described the election of the new president as a development that brings Kosovo’s institutions back to full operation and comes at a crucial time for Kosovo, the region and Europe.
“Heartfelt congratulations to the distinguished academic, Ms Justina Shiroka-Pula, on her election as President of the Republic of Kosovo, at a challenging juncture for Kosovo and at a challenging time for our entire region and Europe itself.”
“Wishing you and Kosovo prosperity and success, Madam President,” Rama wrote.
Following a prolonged political deadlock, Kosovo elected its new President, Justina Shiroka-Pula, last night.
