TIRANA, October 1 /ATA/ – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha met with France’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans René Troccaz, during his stay in Pržno, Montenegro.
The talks focused on Albania’s European Union accession process, developments in the Western Balkans and the strategic importance of enhancing regional cooperation, connectivity and security.
Hoxha emphasized that Albania and France have built an excellent partnership grounded in shared European values, underscoring France’s support for the country’s path toward EU integration. “France’s ongoing support for Albania’s EU path, along with its commitment to a credible, merit-based enlargement process, is of strategic importance for Albania, the Western Balkans and Europe as a whole. We remain dedicated to working closely with France to advance the region’s European integration, strengthen stability and security and anchor the Western Balkans firmly and irreversibly within the European Union,” emphasized Hoxha.
