TIRANA, Sept 29 /ATA/ Minister of Health and Social Welfare Klodiana Spahiu held a meeting with the management of the “Mother Teresa” University Hospital Centre, focusing on improving the management and delivery of healthcare services.
During the meeting, Spahiu called for greater coordination, efficiency and accountability at every level of service provision.
“I called for the most effective use of the capacities across the entire hospital system to ease the burden on the University Hospital Centre, improve services and provide citizens with higher-quality and timely care,” Spahiu said.
According to her, particular attention will also be paid to children’s health through a more integrated approach to paediatric services and their needs.
“The University Hospital Centre should set an example of modern, efficient management and, above all, patient-centred care,” Spahiu said.
