PRISHTINA, September 28 /ATA/ – Many citizens gathered again tonight in Skanderbeg square in Prishtina for the “Not in My Name” protest against the Special Court’s verdict in The Hague on KLA leaders.
This marks the 13th consecutive night of this protest.
Today’s protest follows the Kosovo Assembly’s adoption—during today’s session—of a declaration on the Special Court’s verdict in The Hague.
The lawmakers stated that they consider the “conclusion regarding the existence of a joint criminal enterprise” to be unacceptable.
Meanwhile, there have intensified calls for the amendments and supplements to the Draft Law on the Special Court to be submitted to the Assembly for a vote as soon as possible.
The “Not in My Name” protest has been held every evening in Prishtina since September 16, following the verdict in The Hague. /KosovaPress/p.s./
