TIRANA, Sept 24 /ATA/ Fieldwork continues apace to identify and legalize homes lacking ownership documentation, ranging from old houses built before 1991 to informal dwellings.
Prime Minister Edi Rama today shared images of the on‑site work tackling property issues, highlighting the ongoing process for residences without proper ownership papers.
Prime Minister Edi Rama stated in a social media post that work continues apace to identify and address homes lacking ownership documentation, ranging from pre‑1991 houses to informal dwellings.
As part of this process, the State Cadastre Agency (ASHK) is continuing on‑site verifications of homes built before 1991, with the aim of identifying them and pursuing procedures for properties that lack ownership titles.
According to the State Cadastre Agency (ASHK), its teams are currently in the village of Sul in Devoll, where they will continue work until 25 September. During this period, the teams are conducting verifications with residents and identifying the homes included in the process.
The State Cadastre Agency (ASHK) has called on residents to be present during the identification process, so that on‑site verifications can be carried out and the relevant procedures followed. The process may also include residents who have not previously applied for the treatment of properties without ownership titles.
The process aims to address property ownership issues for old and informal dwellings through identification, on‑site verification, and the pursuit of the relevant administrative procedures.
