TIRANA, Sept 22 /ATA/ The Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organised Crime announced the execution of new security measures and site searches under criminal proceedings no. 20/1 of 2025.
At SPAK’s request, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organised Crime, by decision no. 67 dated 21 September 2026, imposed the security measures of ‘house arrest’ and ‘suspension from exercising a public duty or service’ on V.H., Director of the State Intelligence Service (SHISH), who is under investigation for criminal offences under Articles 320/2 and 295/a/1 of the Penal Code.
By decision of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organised Crime, the security measure of pre‑trial detention was imposed on F.K., serving as sector head at the Scientific Police Institute, under investigation for the criminal offence provided in Article 295/a/1 of the Penal Code. The same precautionary measure was imposed on E.S., employed by the company ‘Agrotourism Kodra e Kuajve,’ under investigation for the criminal offence provided in Article 302/2 of the Penal Code.
SPAK stated that the decisions were referred to the State Police, which executed two of them. By decision no. 618 dated 20 September 2026, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organised Crime authorised the search of the residence and the personal search of I.P., a former senior official of the State Police.
By decision no. 619 dated 21 September 2026, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organised Crime authorised the search of the villa complex located at the intersection of ‘Durrësi në Shekuj’ Street and ‘Bajram Tusha’ Street, in the Shkozet area of Durrës. The Special Prosecution expressed its appreciation to the State Police for the support provided in the execution of these decisions.
