OBP launches training on use of procurement platform

TIRANA, Aug 13 /ATA/ Minister of Economy and Innovation Delina Ibrahimaj announced the launch of a training programme by the Centralised Purchasing Operator (OBP) on the use of the prokurimet.obp.al platform.

According to Ibrahimaj, the training sessions aim to familiarise contracting authorities with the platform’s features and streamline the process of submitting procurement requests.

During the sessions, representatives of the institutions are introduced to the steps for creating and managing requests, entering the relevant information and documentation, as well as submitting the requests and tracking their status in the system.

As part of the training, practical demonstrations of the platform’s key features are also held, along with question-and-answer sessions to address technical and procedural issues.

Ibrahimaj stressed that the prokurimet.obp.al platform represents an important step towards the digitalisation and standardisation of communication between the Centralised Purchasing Operator and contracting authorities, aimed at increasing efficiency, transparency and traceability in the management of procurement requests.

The minister said that the Centralised Purchasing Operator will continue to organise training sessions and provide support to institutions to ensure the platform is as easy and effective to use as possible.
