TIRANA, August 7 /ATA/ Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu highlighted the Tirana Bypass as a vital strategic investment that supports the capital’s growth and modern infrastructure demands.
In a social media post, she noted that the project links the Adriatic-Ionian Corridor (Thumanë–Kashar and Kashar–Lekaj) as well as the Durrës–Tirana and Tirana–Elbasan motorways, integrating key parts of Corridor VIII.
The 21 kilometers of new roads will cut travel time between cities and ease traffic. By moving transit vehicles around Tirana, the project will also boost growth in the capital and nearby areas.
