TIRANA, Aug 7 /ATA/ Visitors from across the globe spending their summer holidays in Durrës have highlighted the city’s beaches, welcoming atmosphere, affordable prices, and relaxing seaside environment.
Tourists from Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, England, the Czech Republic, and the Dominican Republic say Durrës has exceeded their expectations, describing it as a charming destination for family-friendly holidays.
The Media and Information Agency (MIA) shared today the messages of several tourists from different countries around the world, who said they have spent wonderful days in Durrës, praising the weather, the beach, and the hospitality of local residents.
“I have spent some wonderful days in Durrës. The weather is very good, I like the beach, and the people are very friendly,” one of the tourists said.
A tourist from the Netherlands, who is vacationing with his family, described Durrës Beach as large and relaxing.
“It is a very beautiful and large beach. Even though the temperatures are high, we really enjoy being here because it is a very relaxing place,” he said.
A tourist from Italy’s Campania region said that the beach is accessible to everyone, while another Italian visitor praised the atmosphere and hospitality.
“A beautiful place, wonderful and very kind people. We are having a great time,” she said.
Another tourist from the Dominican Republic described Durrës as a pleasant coastal city, adding that during his stay he had found exceptionally friendly people throughout Albania.
Rayan, who travelled from London, said he was blown away by Albania’s climate and the hospitality of its people, describing the country as an ideal destination, especially for visitors from places with cooler weather. “It is the perfect place for a holiday. The people are very kind and the climate is fantastic,” he said.
Meanwhile, tourists from the Czech Republic praised not only the city’s attractions but also its affordable prices and the willingness of local residents to assist visitors.
In their messages, foreign tourists said that the cost of food, drinks, and services is reasonable, describing Albania as a destination that offers an excellent balance between quality and value.
