TIRANA, July 27 /ATA/ The Blue Eye Natural Park in Sarandë continues to be one of the most popular destinations for both local holidaymakers and international tourists this summer.
Prime Minister Edi Rama on Monday shared images on social media showing the Blue Eye bustling with visitors, describing the site as one of Albania’s most spectacular natural attractions.
Many visitors have chosen to enjoy the crystal-clear, refreshing waters of the spring, while capturing memorable photographs and sampling the region’s traditional cuisine.
Located near the village of Muzinë along the Delvinë–Gjirokastër national road, the Blue Eye is approximately a 30-minute drive from Sarandë.
The Blue Eye is one of Albania’s most treasured natural landmarks. In January 2022, it was granted enhanced protected status as a Natural Park, with its protected area expanded to 293 hectares to provide stronger conservation for the Blue Eye Natural Monument located within the park.
