TIRANA, July 27 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted today to the event of Chairman of the “Opportunity” Party, MP Agron Shehaj, taking without permission a classified document, a copy of the loan agreement with the United States of America, from the premises of the Parliament, describing the act as “stealing of a classified document”.
Rama published a video in the social media which shows an employee of the Parliament running after the MP and falling down the stairs in her effort to stop him.
The prime minister said that he expects the prosecution office to enforce the law in the case, while expressing regret for the administration employee who was involved in the situation during the incident.
“He always points at thieves, but today he is running away by himself”, Rama said.
“I wish, but do not hope, that the prosecution will put this hateful character in the proper place defined by law for the thieves of classified documents. And thanks God, the innocent girl has escaped without any serious damage from running in panic after the thief,” Rama wrote. /m.q/j.p/p.s./
