Shala River-Tropoja road project approaches construction phase

TIRANA, July 25/ATA/ The construction site is ready for the Shala–Tropoja road project, marking a major milestone in linking Dukagjini with the heart of the Albanian Alps.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a view of the construction site today, describing the project as a strategic investment that will connect Shala with Tropoja through the Ndermaja Pass.

This investment will create a new connecting corridor between alpine areas, facilitating the movement of residents and visitors, as well as increasing the potential for the development of tourism and the local economy.

The implementation of this project is expected to increase accessibility to one of the most special mountain tourism destinations in the country, contributing to the sustainable development of local communities and the promotion of the Albanian Alps as a tourist destination throughout the year. /e.i/j.p/p.s./
