Rama says “The Albanian Files” first book treated as evidence of crime since fall of communism

TIRANA, July 1 /ATA/ The book “The Albanian Files” will soon be available at the “Adrion” bookstore in the capital.

Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the book has “gone down in history as the first publication ever to be treated as evidence of a crime.

“The ‘cursed book’ will soon be available at ‘Adrion’, after it went down in history today as the first book to be treated as evidence of a crime, 80 years after the fall of Nazism and 35 years after the fall of communism,” said Prime Minister Rama.

Meanwhile, a group of citizens participating in a protest against a planned investment in the Zvërnec area submitted the book “The Albanian Files” to the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) on Thursday.

According to the protesters, the book is a “compilation of crimes committed by Prime Minister Edi Rama”. They claim that “The Albanian Files” contains 523 projects that allegedly bypass public consultation.
