TIRANA, May 20/ATA/ A team of University of Tirana students competed in the international “2nd Lion Explorer in Venice 2026” event in Italy.
Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports Blendi Gonxhja appreciated the participation of Albanian youth in this competition as a big step for university sports.
“This participation highlights the potential of university sports to pioneer new disciplines and unlock greater sporting opportunities for Albanian students,” emphasized Gonxhja.
Students of the University of Tirana participated in the Dragon Boat discipline, where they showed strength, unity and competitive spirit.
