TIRANA, May 18 /ATA/ – A redesigned version of the e-Albania government services platform is launched, aimed at providing faster, more secure and more accessible digital services for citizens and businesses, the National Agency for Information Society (AKSHI) said on Monday.
The upgraded platform, branded e-Albania 2.0, has been rebuilt on a fully modernised infrastructure as part of Albania’s broader digital transformation strategy for public services.
“The new platform has been redesigned on an entirely modernised infrastructure to deliver a faster, safer and more intuitive experience for citizens and businesses,” AKSHI said in a statement.
Built using advanced technologies and updated performance standards, the platform is intended to improve reliability, efficiency and system stability across online public services, the Agency added.
The new version also introduces expanded accessibility features aimed at making digital services easier to use for people with disabilities, in line with efforts to ensure more inclusive access to public services.
For businesses, e-Albania 2.0 includes new functions allowing users to manage authorisations and temporarily delegate access to electronic services with greater flexibility and oversight.
AKSHI said the platform’s updated verification system also enhances user security through advanced two-factor authentication methods.
The e-Albania portal serves as the country’s main online gateway for accessing electronic public services provided by Albanian state institutions.
