FM Hoxha meets Moldovan counterpart: Focus on EU enlargement as strategic investment

TIRANA, April 23 /ATA/ – The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha met Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi on the sidelines of the Delphi Economic Forum in Athens, highlighting European Union enlargement as a strategic priority.

In a post on social media platform X, Hoxha said the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on both countries’ engagement in the EU accession process.

“The meeting was a valuable opportunity to exchange views and compare notes on our active and dynamic engagement in the EU accession process,” he said.

“Albania remains fully committed to sharing its experience and to continuing to do so whenever useful, as friendly countries and partners today, and future EU members,” Foreign Minister added.

Hoxha also stressed that EU enlargement should be seen as “a strategic investment” in Europe’s security and in building a more united, resilient and sustainable continent.
