TIRANA, April 21/ATA/ Albanian weightlifting sensation Enkileda Carja was crowned Europe’s Rising Star 2025 at the European Championships in Batumi.
This award perfectly caps a phenomenal 2025 for Carja, who dominated the international stage with medals at the World, European, and Balkan Championships, alongside the Solidarity Games.
Astrit Hasani, President of the European Weightlifting Federation, presented the award while commending the Albanian athlete’s outstanding international performance and promise.
Carja’s success is the result of hard work over the years, in close collaboration with coach Eglantina Kalemi, as well as the constant support from the Weightlifting Federation and the Albanian National Olympic Committee.
