TIRANA, Jan 10 /ATA/ – Snowfall has blanketed Llogara National Park, about 40 km southeast of the southern city of Vlora, since Friday.
The road through the park is fully open to traffic after part of the route was briefly blocked a day earlier, authorities said.
Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Saturday that access to the park remains open for travellers heading there over the weekend, adding that the use of snow chains is mandatory.
The first snowfall of the season has drawn numerous visitors to the park, offering striking winter scenery.
Llogara remains among Albania’s most popular destinations, attracting visitors in winter as well as during the summer season.
