TIRANA, Jan 7 /ATA/ – Health teams are providing continuous and safe medical care to residents in the coastal city of Durres as the area is affected by severe weather, Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Wednesday.
Rama said on social media that doctors and medical teams are visiting residents in neighbourhoods impacted by heavy rainfall.
Health authorities have taken measures to ensure uninterrupted services during the period of bad weather, both in urban centres and in more remote areas.
They include round-the-clock monitoring of the situation, checks of infrastructure, equipment and emergency medicine stocks, ensuring access for emergency transport and coordination with local authorities and civil emergency services, officials said.
