TIRANA, November 20 /ATA/ While the November red-letter days are approaching the pre-school education institutions and schools all over the country have long begun preparations to celebrate the Alphabet Day and the National Independence and Liberation Day.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media moments from the country schools painted in red and black while there are organized exhibitions as well as other cultural and sports activities.
The colors of the Albanian flag imply national pride, unity, and historical significance. While the red symbolizes bravery and sacrifice, the black double-headed eagle represents the sovereign, a symbol rooted in its history of struggle for independence.
“Through the ‘Art and Crafts’ program, figurative art classes, literature and community activities, students across Albania, from Vlora to Tirana, Elbasan, Përmet and Dibra are preparing to celebrate the November holidays,” wrote Rama.
The “Art and Crafts” national program aims to encourage the learning of art and crafts through practical activities, fostering the entrepreneurial skills of students in the perspective of preserving and promoting the values of the community where they live, as well as our cultural heritage.
The national program has begun its application in schools across the country, turning them into centers where students develop values and traditions. /a.f/p.s./
