Rama: Treatment of wastewater contaminated with microbiological elements

TIRANA, Nov 3 /ATA/-By Maela Marini/ Today, Prime Minister Edi Rama encouraged universities to collaborate more closely with the Academy of Sciences, aiming to foster innovative solutions.

At the International Conference on Life Sciences and Agriculture organized by the Agricultural University of Tirana, Rama announced that a proposal is being discussed for the treatment of wastewater contaminated with microbiological elements.
According to him, the proposal comes from the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Andis Salla, who successfully implemented a similar practice while serving as the mayor of Cërrik.
Rama commended Salla’s expertise in this area, stating that “despite coming from a background that is not widely recognized or extensively covered by the media, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Andis Salla has earned his role through numerous innovative initiatives, working closely with farmers and actively addressing rural development issues.”
“We are discussing his proposal for the treatment of polluted and wastewater containing microbiological elements, a practice he successfully implemented in Cërrik for a number of kindergartens and schools,” Rama said.
