TIRANA, Oct 15 /ATA/ Minister of Interior, Albana Koçiu, participated today in the Security and Migration Summit held in London as part of the Berlin Process.
During her visit, Minister Koçiu was received by the UK Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood.
Koçiu wrote in a social media post that she was in London, within the framework of the Berlin Process, to take part in the Security and Migration Summit, aimed at strengthening cooperation against organized crime, illegal migration, and cybersecurity challenges.
The meeting is part of a series of ministerial-level events that the United Kingdom, as the host country of the Berlin Process 2025, is organizing on topics covering foreign, internal, and economic policy.
Its goal is to enhance regional cooperation, support economic development, and accelerate efforts toward closer European integration in the Western Balkans.
The meetings will culminate with the Leaders’ Summit, convened by the UK Prime Minister in London on October 22, 2025.
