TIRANA, Sept 25 /ATA/ The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has highly praised the commitment and achievements of Albanian Civil Aviation by awarding Albania the Certificate of the President of the ICAO Council, an important recognition for the efficient air safety oversight system and continuous dedication to international standards.
The news was announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, which, through a post on social media, described it as a moment of pride for Albania and our civil aviation.
“This recognition marks a new chapter in the development of Albanian Civil Aviation — one that is safer, more modern, and firmly focused on the future,” stated the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy.
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy further emphasized: “We are working every day to enhance capacities, improve performance and services, and upgrade infrastructure through close cooperation with our international partners.”
The Ministry concluded its statement by emphasizing: “With clear objectives and ambitious projects, the Albanian government is determined to elevate this sector to a new level of development — serving citizens, the economy, and a more connected Albania to the world.”
