Denaj: 50% grant support for investments in aquaculture

TIRANA, September 4 /ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Anila Denaj announced opening of the call for applications to the National Investment Scheme 2025, with a special focus on aquaculture, through the financing of investments in nets and baskets for fish farming.

“The National Investment Scheme 2025 is a real instrument for the sustainable development of aquaculture in our country. Any entrepreneur who intends to invest in nets and baskets for fish farming can benefit from a 50% grant of the investment value, up to 15 million lekë per entity”, stated Denaj.

The minister said that the scheme offers 50% financial support on the value of approved tax invoices or up to 15 million lekë per entity.

Beneficiaries of this scheme also have the opportunity to combine the grant with the Soft Loan, which is offered at an interest rate of only 2%, as well as with the sovereign guarantee that covers up to 70% of the collateral required for lending, thus ensuring full financing of the investment.

This form of support enables entrepreneurs to fully finance their projects, reducing the financial burden and promoting the development of this sector with high economic and export potential.

Applications for the National Investment Scheme 2025 will be open until September 30 and are carried out at the central offices of the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development. /e.xh//a.f//r.e/p.s./
