TIRANA, September 4 /ATA/ President of the Republic Bajram Begaj reacted today to the tragic event in Lisbon, where after Wednesday’s deadly funicular cable railway crash dozens of people were killed and injured in a tram accident.
The president expressed his condolences to the bereaved families of the victims, while wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
“Saddened by the tragic crash of Glória funicular in Lisbon. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families who have suffered such a loss. My thoughts are with the injured, to whom I wish a speedy and full recovery,” President Begaj wrote in the social media.
