TIRANA, August 19/ATA/ The 87th season of the most important Albanian football championship, the “Abissnet Superiore”, starts on Friday.
The new season opens with the match between Vllaznia and Egnatia to be played at the “Loro Boriçi” stadium of Shkodra, at 20:00.
Egnatia is Albania’s current champion.
Flamurtari team is promoted into the “Abissnet Superiore” after a 5-year absence. Flamurtari is distinguished in the market and investments in the stadium.
Another novelty is the historic debut of Vora team. After an impressive season in the First Category, where they dominated the championship, the capital team of Vora will test themselves against the best in the “Abissnet Superiore”.
The new championship is expected to be a strong competition for the title. The reigning champions of Egnatia, like their other rivals, have been reinforced in the market and are ready to achieve their seasonal objectives.
