TIRANA, Aug 7 /ATA/ – Ksamil beach with its white sand and crystal clear sea water is the place to be for a growing number of local and international tourists during the summer tourism season.
Prime Minister Edi Rama on Thursday posted footage on social media showcasing the public beach in Ksamil, a hidden gem located on the Albanian Riviera, and one of the best beach destinations in Europe, known for its crystal-clear waters, pristine nature, and stunning landscape.
“View of the public beach in Ksamil,” Rama wrote, highlighting the natural beauty of the area, which has become a favorite destination for both domestic and international tourists over the years.
The public beach in Ksamil is part of the government’s efforts to ensure free access and high-quality services for all citizens and visitors, in line with modern coastal management standards. Authorities have been closely monitoring business activities along the coastline for months to prevent illegal encroachments on public beaches.
With improved infrastructure and unique natural assets, Ksamil continues to be one of the main attractions of the Albanian Riviera. International media have even dubbed Ksamil the “Albanian Maldives.”
Located some 12 km from Saranda, the small village of Ksamil, primarily known for its fine sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, offers impressive views and it his home to several small rocky islands located a bit out in the water, and a dense wild vegetation.
