TIRANA, July 8 /ATA/ Transparent justice is not merely an aspiration, it is fundamental to democratic governance.
This week, in Vlora, the OSCE Presence in Albania addressed a crucial dimension of justice sector reform: equipping prosecutors with the communication skills that are essential to serve the public effectively.
Our two-day intensive training on “Strengthening the capacities of Media Prosecutors: Public communication and media engagement” brough together professionals from General Jurisdiction Prosecution Offices of Albania.
When prosecutors can articulate complex legal matters clearly and engage professionally with the media, they strengthen institutional credibility and further public sector transparency that is vital to furthering the trust of the people.
Through the training, media prosecutors honed their skills in crafting clear and concise messages, adequately preparing for media interviews and managing effective communication when dealing with sensitive cases. The participants developed their skills through a combination of theoretical and practical exercises, real-case simulations and peer and self-reviews of their performance.
This initiative underscores the Presence’s unwavering commitment to supporting Albania’s justice reform.
