TIRANA, June 26 /ATA/ Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, held a meeting with the new Italian Ambassador to Albania, Marco Alberti.
Minister Malaj emphasized that Albania and Italy maintain excellent bilateral relations, with Italy serving not only as one of Albania’s principal strategic partners but also as a steadfast advocate on Albania’s pathway to European Union accession.
Minister Malaj pointed to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries across various economic and social sectors.
“We share our full commitment to further strengthen cooperation with a view to boosting the country’s economic and social development through the financing of a range of programs,” stated Minister Malaj.
