TIRANA, June 18/ATA/ The five Albanian nationals evacuated from Israel have arrived safe and sound in Athens in the early hours of the morning.
Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani said that, “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its embassies, has been closely following the evacuation of the 5 Albanian nationals from Israel, who arrived safe and sound in Athens in the early hours of the morning.”
Hasani also said that, “3 of them have continued their journey and are now in Tirana; one will return to Albania tonight; while the fifth person is a resident of Greece and will stay in the neighboring country.”
Several countries are evacuating their citizens from Israel and Iran amid the escalating conflict between the two countries which has included mutual rocket attacks and an increase in the number of civilian casualties. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
