E-buses in service of tourists in Berat

TIRANA, June 18/ATA/ The castle of Berat and the streets are busy during this tourist season with local and foreign tourists who get acquainted from very close with the history of the museum city.

Although it has been hot weather, there has been an influx of tourists to the 2500-year-old city.

To ease the movement of tourists, Berat City Hall has made available three e-buses, two buggies and six charging stations.

These means are in context of the municipal efforts in support of the visitors’ movement along the tourist and urban itineraries of the city.

“3 electric buses, 2 buggies and 6 charging stations have been made available in the city; they will be at the service of tourists visiting Berat at tourist spots, ensuring less pollution and offering more convenience for visitors,” the municipality emphasized.

This is a project of Berat municipality, financially supported by the World Bank and the Albanian Development Fund and which makes an important step forward toward a green and more hospitable city for everyone. /k.s/r.e/j.p/p.s./
