U.S. Army advisors train Albanian Air Force to enhance wildfire response efforts

TIRANA, June 15 /ATA/ – As the summer season begins and wildfire risks increase, U.S. Army advisers are assisting the Albanian Air Force in further developing its operational capabilities through specialized training exercises.

Specialized wildfire response training at Farka Air Base focused on enhancing wildfire response efforts, including the use of “Bambi Buckets”—aerial firefighting equipment designed for extinguishing fires in difficult terrain.

The United States Embassy in Albania said in a social media post on Sunday that the drills at Farka Air Base highlight the growing cooperation between the American and Albanian militaries to strengthen regional readiness for crisis situations
