TIRANA, June 5/ATA/ World Environment Day, observed annually on June 5, encourages global awareness and action to protect the environment.
“Beat Plastic Pollution” is the theme of World Environment Day 2025, to encourage communities around the globe to adopt and promote sustainable solutions.
Prime Minister Edi Rama wrote in a post in social media today that, “World Environment Day reminds us that change starts with each one of us.”
Rama took the opportunity to announce that, “With the TEA app, you can report any environmental problem on the beaches, in a few seconds.”
“Upload a photo, describe the problem and help protect nature. Reports are sent directly to the relevant institutions,” Rama said.
Led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and observed annually since 1973, World Environment Day has become the largest global platform for environmental outreach. Here millions of people from around the world engage in online and in-person events to protect the planet. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
