TIRANA, June 5/ATA/ Head of the Muslim Community of Albania Bujar Spahiu congratulated today all Albanian believers on occasion of the Greater Bajram public holiday, tomorrow, June 6.
Spahiu said in his message of congratulations that, “I wish your families to enjoy good health, peace and be compassionate”.
“The Eid al-Adha is not simply a symbolic act, but an expression of people’s devotion and obedience to the creator of the universe. It is directly related to one of the greatest stories of divine revelation in the Holy Quran and his sublime sacrifice to fulfill the promise given”, said Spahiu calling for developing ties with one another.
The prayers on the feast of sacrifice will be on Friday, June 6 at the “Martyr’s of the Nation” Boulevard, Tirana. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
