TIRANA, May 20/ATA/ President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee Fidel Ylli accompanied President of the International Gymnastics Federation Morinari Watanabe on a special visit to Albania.
The purpose of this visit was to promote cooperation between the International Federation and the Albanian Gymnastics Federation.
President Ylli acquainted his guest Watanabe with the School Sports Teams project and requested his support for including the discipline of gymnastics in this project.
During the visit to the Northern city of Shkodra, where they were accompanied by President of the Albanian Gymnastics Federation Leonard Luli, President Watanabe closely followed the National Gymnastics activity with the participation of many children from all over Albania.
Watanabe, a well-known Japanese businessman, President of the International Gymnastics Federation, since 2017, IOC Member and candidate for IOC President, praised the excellent work of the Albanian Olympic Committee and President Fidel Ylli and expressed all his attention to support Albanian gymnastics. /r.e/p.s./
