TIRANA, May 13 /ATA/ “Korça is raising a new generation of creative and visionary talents,” said Sotiraq Filo, the Mayor of Korça, on social media, following the conclusion of the student competition in Korça.
A total of 200 students from five high schools in the city participated in a unique challenge organized by the Korça Innovation Hub, showcasing innovative solutions for “The Future of Transport.”
11 groups were selected for their innovative approach and will advance to the final of the hackathon.
The Korça Innovation Hub was buzzing with energy, creativity, and forward-thinking ideas. This marked the second edition of the event, where ICT Clubs united high school students from Korça to take on the challenge themed “Can we survive on Mars?”.
Will we travel by drones? With solar energy? Or with completely new ideas? These were some of the questions raised by the “Transport of the Future” challenge among the 200 students who participated.
The 11 winning groups, which presented amazing ideas, represent the schools: “Preka” College, “Platon” College, “Themistokli Germenji,” “Raqi Qirinxhi,” and the Technical Vocational School.
“Korça is not only defined by its history, but also by its future,” stated the Mayor of Korça at the end of this fascinating challenge.
