TIRANA, May 12 /ATA/ The Central Election Commission clarified on Monday that there is no decision from the State Election Commissioner to exclude the votes of voters from Greece from the counting and evaluation process.
In a press release, the Central Election Commission explained that the decision made the day before is aimed solely at ensuring the proper management of electoral documentation for voters abroad, while this documentation is being reviewed by the counters and the relevant commissions responsible for the counting and evaluation of votes from abroad across the country’s 12 regions.
“The statements and dissenting views regarding this decision disregard the facts and, in certain instances, are misleading,” the CEC’s statement reads.
