TIRANA, May 11 /ATA/- The State Election Commissioner (CEC), Ilirjan Celibashi called on candidates for deputies to avoid their presence in the polling stations as it is forbidden by law.
“Reports told CEC that candidates for deputies have requested to enter the polling stations. We would like to inform you that the attendance of candidates at the polling stations is officially prohibited by the Electoral Code,” Celibashi wrote on the social media.
“Candidates must strictly respect this legal prohibition,” he said.
“These candidates, as well as other political representatives must be the first to contribute to the integrity of the electoral process,” Celibashi added. //a.i/
