TIRANA, May 1 /ATA/ Adriatik Lapaj, leader of the “Shqipëria Bëhet” Party, met with women and girls at Rinia Park in Tirana to present the platform of coalition with “Nisma Thurje” for the upcoming May 11 elections.
Lapaj described it as an excellent program for families, prioritizing women by providing support with home purchases, managing work-life balance, and children’s education.
“Running on an open list with a party that opposes the system takes great courage. A woman’s rights will never be compromised. I hope it will be a woman who challenges me for my position. We have an excellent program for families, with a special focus on the Albanian woman,” he remarked.
Lapaj emphasized, “Our program offers every young family purchasing an apartment up to 80 square meters a loan with a fixed 1% interest rate. The state will guarantee any amount exceeding this rate and will cover the payment.”
Regarding employment, Lapaj stated, “We offer weekly flexibility. You will have two hours off per week, whether in the private or public sector. These hours can be taken at any time to receive a service, for errands to run at the bank, to visit a family member, etc. Another key point for women will be the introduction of competition and merit-based system. Every woman will have the opportunity to compete equally with men.”
