TIRANA, April 24 /ATA/ – North Macedonia’s Culture Week kicked off for the first time as part of the ongoing International Culture Week in Albania.
The program opened with “Eyes to the Future,” a genre-blending concert featuring classical piano, electric keyboard and the unique energy of a DJ.
The concert title holds significant symbolism, reflecting the optimism and hope of the people of North Macedonia for a brighter future.
The Macedonian pianist Ema Popivoda and internationally acclaimed Albanian DJ Rea Lemnusha came together at the Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana in a rare artistic collaboration that embodies hope, optimism and vision for a European and global cultural future.
The performance merged classical music with electronic sounds to reflect a shared European cultural vision.
Other events as part of North Macedonia’s Culture Week include a traditional costume exhibition, accompanied by the launch of the book Monograph of Traditional Costumes of North Macedonia.
On April 26, a wine and tourism fair near the Pyramid in downtown Tirana will showcase 12 Macedonian wineries. The Culture Week will also feature theatre pieces and other exhibitions until April 30.
