TIRANA, April 24/ATA/ The leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha presented today the candidates for MP of the coalition “DP – Alliance for a Great Albania” in Gjirokastra region.
In his speech, Berisha pledged to elevate the teachers on a pedestal, while adding that paying teachers a salary of at least 1,500 euros per month will be the main objective.
“We are here with this program that we start first and foremost with human compassion. It is cruel when the state takes 8 billion in taxes from the people and gives 16 million to 760 thousand pension citizens”, said Berisha.
“We have defined the living minimum. Every Albanian 200 euros. Every pensioner 200 euros. All students with scholarships will receive 200 euros”, emphasized the leader of the DP.
“I am responding as a former prime minister. First, that budget, morality and the law oblige you to return the money first of all to those you took the money from and that all the budget consists of taxpayers’ money. And this is a principle of every responsible government,” said Berisha. /r.e//a.f/p.s./
