TIRANA, April 7/ATA/ Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate Delina Ibrahimaj stated today that the government is supporting, through crystal clear policies, the creation of a favorable climate for entrepreneurship and the promotion of investments in green technologies and innovation.
During the ceremony of the Austrian “Alukönigstahl” company, an important partner of urban development in the country, to present innovations in the field of construction, Ibrahimaj said that businesses in Albania are walking alongside the government in this transformation, bringing the experience of the EU, so that every urban intervention reflects the vision for a modern Albania.
“The construction sector in Albania is experiencing not only a significant growth, but also a continuous improvement in quality and standards, as key elements in our journey towards membership in the European Union”, she stated.
The Albanian economy grew by nearly 4% during 2024, or 0.02% more than a year before. The construction sector continued to contribute positively to economic growth last year. In the fourth quarter of last year, construction industry increased by 1.57%, compared to the same period in 2023. /j.p/p.s./
