TIRANA, March 30 /ATA/The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, who attended the roundtable titled “Bringing Young Albanians Back to the Homeland,” emphasized his commitment to a policy that would facilitate the return of young Albanians to the country.
At the event organized by the Brain Gain department in the Democratic Party, in collaboration with the Women’s Democratic League (LDG) and the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party (FRPD), Berisha emphasized the DP’s commitment to policies aimed at bringing Albanians back to their homeland.
“We will be committed to a policy that will bring back young Albanians, wherever they are and work around the world,” declared Berisha. He praised the contribution of the youth in the campaign, emphasizing that their dynamism is vital for the victory of the Democratic Party.
In this context, he emphasized that the Democratic Party has fielded 58 candidates under the age of 40 in the upcoming elections, calling this a sign of their commitment to the youth and the future of the country.
“What the department showed, by working as an opposition and doing much better to reach out to the youth, has the undeniable merit of connecting with young people. These young individuals will be a substantial part of the future administration.”
“They will be a substantial part of our governance, and we greatly need the contribution of young people. That contribution is vital. The mission cannot be accomplished without your drive and dreams. And your dreams will give this country its future,” emphasized Berisha.
Citing success stories like Mira Murati and Dua Lipa, Berisha stated that young Albanians have reached the pinnacle of international success and that the aim of the Democratic Party is to create the conditions to bring them back to Albania.
The former prime minister stated that the PD program focuses on young people.
“We will provide soft loans for every young couple to buy a home. I know that prices are skyrocketing today, and it seems that owning a home is out of reach, but we will offer real opportunities for you, with financial support and soft loans. We will do everything to ensure that the third-child policy provides state support for the third child until the age of 23,” announced Berisha.
According to him, “Every young person or emigrant will be treated equally if they come to invest in Albania, and they will not be taxed for 5 years. We will work to bring them back to Albania. Our opponents have copied our program, but they are liars and corrupt, and this is how they handle the program,” Berisha further emphasized.
