TIRANA, March 25/ATA/ Elbasan Auto Moto Park, the first Albanian motorsports circuit, which is currently being built on the ground along the Shkumbin River, is a new ultra-modern platform, which opens a new era of development not only for Elbasan, but for the entire country. It will make Albania the epicenter of the region for motorsports, as well as international events of the highest levels, which are expected to bring Formula Uno followers from all over the world in Elbasan.
During today’s presentation of the Startup and Startup Grant2024 winners together and Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate Delina Ibrahimaj, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that, “The circuit being built in Elbasan is not an investment for Formula Uno, but an investment that has road safety at its heart”.
“Albanian Formula 1 circuit is not an investment for Formula 1 simply, it is an investment that has road safety at its heart and there will be a training, testing, certification center. The same model was developed in Austria with great success. We have worked for the circuit, but we have also worked for all of this. In fact, there will take place many types of motor racing, with motorbikes, motorcycles, cars, children’s races, etc., etc. and it could be a point where the ambitions and value of what you do can be combined with what we are trying to do.
