TIRANA, March 18 /ATA/-By Maela Marini/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama has highlighted his government focus on water supply projects and infrastructure to ensure continuous water supply to residents throughout Albania.
Responding to commenters on the social media on Tuesday, the government head acknowledged that a lot remains to be done, yet he recalled the fact that only four urban areas received 24/7 water supply when the Socialist Party took office in 2013.
Highlighting the transformations of Albania’s water sector, PM Rama underlined that a total of 11 water supply projects are already underway.
He said that residents in 43 urban areas and in 98 rural areas across the country now receive 24/7 water supply.
“We will ultimately tackle the continuous water supply within the fourth term in office,” he said.
