TIRANA, March 14/ATA/ Chairman of the Democratic Party in opposition Sali Berisha held a meeting today with the candidates for MPs of the Democratic Party in Elbasan region.
During his speech, Berisha promised that the next government after May 11 general elections will build Elbasan bypass because it is an infrastructural work that serves the city.
“The first public work that the DP government will start, in addition to the widening of Tirana-Durrës highway, will be Elbasan bypass. There is nothing more urgent than this bypass because it serves the city, it serves the entire southeastern area of the country”.
Berisha added, “I am not against building of Elbasan-Qafë Thanë highway, but the bypass has the priority”.
Berisha said that 8 to 10 million have been spent to build the Formula 1 track, but first of all, he added, we must build the bypass. “It costs money, but it will be done”, said Berisha.
Berisha added that, “We will focus on promotion of production in the country, while adding that we will formalize tourism”.
“We have invested and will invest again in tourism. But, production is our absolute priority. Therefore, we will focus on production in Albania. We will make Albania the most attractive country for foreign investments. We will attract the largest high-tech companies”, said Berisha.
“Therefore, we focus on this program, because this program for a Great Albania is absolutely up to us and this can be fully realized”, Berisha concluded his speech. /j.p/p.s./
