TIRANA, February 24/ATA/ Chairman of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha pointed today at SPAK arguing that it is turned into a political prosecution that targets the opposition and has prosecuted or arrested the three leaders of the three opposition parties.
During a press conference, Berisha said that, “Under Edi Rama and with Altin Dumani at the helm of SPAK, SPAK began its criminal activity against the opposition”.
“Thus, SPAK has arrested Ilir Meta without any concrete accusations. Sali Berisha is faced with manipulation and false charges. And Fatmir Mediu faces a process that was thoroughly judged 15 years ago”, he added.
Further on, Berisha mentioned imprisonment of DP MP Ervin Salianji while on the other hand SPAK has closed file on the major electoral crime of the highest state officials.
But, Berisha pledged that, “George Soros cannot protect any more Edi Rama’s criminal activity and he will now face the law”.
Berisha also reacted to today’s post in the social media by Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj considering it as a personal threat. “There is no more genuine act of obstruction of justice than this”, said Berisha.
Speaking about the upcoming May 11 general elections, Berisha said that, “The DP is open to cooperate with any party that considers Rama as the main problem”./m.m/j.p/p.s./
