TIRANA, Feb 22 /ATA/- Work continues apace at the “Fan S. Noli” University in Korça, on the construction of the Knowledge Hub, an important investment for students and faculty members.
The head of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, Deputy Niko Peleshi, emphasizes that this infrastructure transformation will elevate the University of Korça to a new level, making it more competitive and connected with international partners.
Peleshi highlights that “the new work plan for our University now includes innovative programs with international partners, the engagement of professors from the diaspora, and the creation of research centers in collaboration with businesses in fields relevant to development.”
According to him, the initial signs of the University’s new direction are very positive.
The Albanian Development Fund is overseeing the restoration of the historical former sanatorium building (donated by philanthropist Thoma Turtulli) and the construction of a new knowledge complex.
This new unit will provide additional space for the university to develop new innovative programs.
With this complex, the “Fan S. Noli” University ensures a modern infrastructure to accommodate not only students from Korça but also those from other parts of Albania and the surrounding region.
